Today we want to share with you the work our healthcare personnel carries out in Ibiza’s nightlife and leisure venues. We can confidently say that our medical services are currently available in the island’s best nightclubs and beach clubs, which are arguably among the finest nightlife destinations in the world. That explains why year after year famous (and anonymous) guests travel from all over the globe to enjoy Ibiza’s nightlife.

The creation of our healthcare services in nightlife settings over 12 years ago arose from the need to treat urgent medical cases and emergencies on-site, whether or not related to drug consumption. Over all these years, we have treated more than 40,000 people, channeling that experience on one hand into direct patient care—creating a healthcare framework that elevates the quality of emergency response, patient assessment, and evaluation for individuals and society alike. On the other hand, we channel it into our specialized Drug Intoxications in Nightlife Environments training, attended annually by healthcare personnel from across Spain, England, Italy…

Our Professional Healthcare Features and hallmarks are:

• The isochrone between the alert and medical contact with the patient is under 2 minutes.
• The medical station is fully equipped to handle everything from minor urgent cases to major emergencies, integrated directly inside the venue, thermally and acoustically insulated to minimize sensory stimuli.
• The training of our healthcare staff instills a proactive attitude and comprehensive knowledge in caring for intoxicated patients, setting aside biases that might cloud clinical judgment to focus exclusively on patient health. Furthermore, they are fully prepared and equipped with the skills required to work seamlessly alongside non-medical staff: security personnel, bar staff, etc.

Through this healthcare model, we succeed among other things in avoiding overcrowding in ambulance and hospital emergency services, as the vast majority of patients are treated and discharged right inside the venue, reducing public health expenditure by bypassing public resources.
