The 11th Annual Training Edition, which we hold every year during April and May, comes to a close this weekend with the course BS-Firefighters and Healthcare Staff: One Team in Emergency Response. On this occasion, firefighters and healthcare professionals from various Spanish provinces gather once again in Ibiza. The training, taking place at the former Convent of Sant Rafael, will begin today, Friday, at 2:00 PM and wrap up on Saturday at 4:00 AM.

Traffic accidents, politrauma patients, fires, structural collapses, and hazardous materials are routine scenarios for these professional groups. Learning to work together in these and other emergency situations is one of the core objectives of this course, as all of them require coordination and cross-disciplinary participation from various emergency teams. The ultimate goal is to ensure that once an incident has occurred, morbidity and mortality rates are minimized through effective treatment of the different scenarios.

At Emergency Staff, we have been convinced for years that promoting joint, comprehensive training between healthcare personnel and other emergency professionals is vital for resolving these critical situations, offering professionals unique content from every operational perspective.

The BS-Firefighters and Healthcare Staff course is designed and taught by the Emergency Staff instructor team, comprising seasoned Firefighters as well as Healthcare Instructors from the Emergency Care Division.
