This past April, Emergency Staff had the honor of serving as the official medical team for the inaugural edition of the Red Bull Ibiza Royale, a spectacular obstacle course race held in the heart of Dalt Vila bringing together over 200 co-ed teams from around the world. A vibrant course demanding high physical and technical performance, fusing adrenaline, creativity, and elite sport, transforming Ibiza into the epicenter of an unprecedented experience.
Over three intense days of competition, our medical team deployed a comprehensive health safety operation tailored to the specific challenges of the event: ranging from mobile units and rapid intervention teams to medical care stations strategically positioned along the course. This meticulous planning delivered efficient, accessible, and highly professional medical coverage.
The Red Bull Ibiza Royale was not only a test of agility, endurance, and strategy for the competitors; it also presented a unique opportunity for Emergency Staff to test our operational coordination, rapid response, and teamwork capabilities in a demanding and dynamic environment. Working hand-in-hand with organizers and logistical support crews ensured constant care and well-being for participants, staff, and spectators alike.
Additionally, updated protocols were implemented in first aid, sports injury management, and basic life support—including immobilization maneuvers, hemorrhage control, and tactical evacuation.
