Two weeks have passed since the Drug Intoxications and Control of Aggressive Persons and Hostile Areas training sessions, which, as you may know, we hold annually in Ibiza in 36-hour and 21-hour formats respectively, and also deliver on demand throughout the year across different Spanish regions, Portugal, and Italy. Each training event we host in Ibiza represents a significant workload; nevertheless, we greatly enjoy every new edition, as being able to create and sustain this event year after year—bringing 100 to 150 healthcare professionals interested in these topics to Ibiza—reaffirms our conviction in its necessity.
When training finishes, our work continues: beyond administrative tasks, we place great importance on analyzing student feedback gathered through anonymous satisfaction questionnaires handed out at the end of each course, as well as reviewing media coverage across media outlets, newspapers, television, radio, and students’ social media posts. Our commitment to continuous improvement drives us to take this part of event management very seriously. We imagine welcoming back a student from our earliest editions to next year’s event: that person should feel the maturity of the course, the evolution of syllabus topics aligned to 2020 realities, and refinements in content and visuals. Improvements in organization, scheduling, room acoustics, image quality, and instructional standards—not because early editions were lacking, but because education is an evolving tool, and when continuous improvement is in a company’s DNA, we believe that evolution shines through.
We would like to thank each and every person who participated in the Drug Intoxications and Control of Aggressive Persons and Hostile Areas training during this 2019 edition—whether instructors, technical crew, collaborators, and especially the students! Without you, your support, your feedback, and the recommendations you share with colleagues, reaching 12 editions would not be possible. So to you, a big THANK YOU!
