From December 10th to 22nd, candidates applying to join the Formentera Fire Department—those who have passed the selection process and are part of the candidate pool—are attending specialized training for this sector. This training program was designed by 9 experienced instructors, firefighters, and healthcare professionals from our team.
72 hours of theoretical and practical content, tailored to the reality of the services most commonly provided on the island. Topics range from emergency healthcare, traffic accident response, vertical rescue and work at heights, to indoor and outdoor firefighting, hazardous materials, and a training module dedicated to professional development: command leadership, attitude, control, and safety during interventions.
