LOTO – Energy Allocation

Course Objectives

  • Perform the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedure safely while mitigating risks.
  • Understand the hazards of failing to execute the LOTO process correctly.
  • Test the user’s acquired knowledge.
  • Learn the procedure through hints in guided mode.
  • Execute the procedure autonomously in practical mode.
  • Practice energy isolation for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic power sources.

The student may suffer a virtual accident if they do not perform the LOTO process correctly.
