Extrication with light tools

EHL – Light Tool Extrication

Course Objectives

Create interior space for victim extraction, preferably maintaining a zero-degree (in-line) path.
Apply extrication techniques using knowledge of vehicle compartments.
Manipulate and dismantle vehicle seats.
Create exterior access points using light tools.
Increase knowledge regarding fasteners and hardware.
Reinforce knowledge of new structural assembly technologies.
Combine extrication techniques using both light and hydraulic tools.
Expand knowledge regarding vehicle structures and deformities following an accident.
