AED + BLS – Use of Defibrillators by First Responders

Course Objectives

Identify and manage a cardiac arrest.
Introduce cardiovascular problems.
Master the protocol for using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
Understand when to start and stop CPR.
Apply adult and pediatric basic life support.
Relieve an airway obstruction.
Control bleeding.
Apply the recovery position.
Conduct theoretical classes, practical scenarios, and role-playing with a manikin and defibrillator.

Training valid for 3 years. Approved company number EFDESA018. Official qualification approved by the Balearic Government. FUNDAE funding available, maximum 30 participants depending on the application.
