The Ibiza Nightlife Association (Ocio de Ibiza) and Emergency Staff signed an agreement today under which the Pityusic company will offer preferential contracting terms for its medical services to entertainment venues belonging to the association.
As specified by Lluis Andrés Tubau, Director of Emergency Staff: “We are very pleased to offer members of Ocio de Ibiza a special partnership agreement, as many of them are precisely the venues that have trusted us from the start.”
This collaboration, valid for one year, will include medical risk management services in nightlife settings, specialized healthcare training provided by Emergency Staff, and preferred pricing on automated defibrillators (AEDs) and medical supplies for member establishments.
Amnesia, Bora-Bora, Blue Marlin, DC-10, KM-5, Nassau Beach Club, Ocean Beach Ibiza, Privilege, and Ushuaïa are among the venues eligible for this initiative, which advocates for professional training and enhanced safety across Ibiza’s nightlife spaces.
Lluis Andrés Tubau added: “We are particularly proud of nightlife entrepreneurs on the island, as they are global pioneers in championing safety within their venues, which deserves recognition.” Tubau specified that “these services facilitate professional specialization and establish protocols that allow us to continually improve safety at all events, whether day or night.”
For his part, José Luis Benítez, President of the Ibiza Nightlife Association, pointed out that “anything that involves investing in safety and enhancing conditions in the venues chosen by visitors and residents alike is essential to us, and we consider it a great benefit for our islands.”
