Today, the Drug Intoxications in Nightlife Environments course continues as part of the 2020 Healthcare and Emergency Training Forum. Throughout today’s sessions, students will have the opportunity to learn about current drug types, consumption effects, and detecting the degree of intoxication using psychodynamic profiles.

Additionally, joint teams comprising police officers, healthcare professionals, and social sector workers will perform practical intervention exercises, such as organizing a coordinated police-healthcare-social response unit to safely and efficiently assist nightlife venue patrons. All guided by Andrés García, Training Director at Emergency Staff.

The afternoon session is dedicated to risk management in drug consumption. Iván Castro, Emergency Staff collaborator and head of the Ibiza drug prevention plan, will guide students through this subject.
