Today, Wednesday June 2nd at 3:00 PM, marked the opening of the final course of the year at the 2021 Healthcare and Emergency Training Forum, organized by Emergency Staff at the Santa Eulalia Conference Center (Palacio de Congresos). We had the pleasure of welcoming ER and ICU nurses, physicians, nursing assistants, and registered nurses. Many of them did not know each other at first, but over time—and with the help of Training Director Andrés’s icebreaker methods and trust-building strategies—we witnessed a great atmosphere and excellent teamwork.
A 21-hour in-person training program divided into day and night phases, featuring role-playing workshops where students recreate real-life situations. The goal is to integrate the necessary knowledge to develop a joint response protocol for mixed assistance between firefighters and healthcare personnel, enabling them to locate and reach one or more victims in an emergency setting while delivering comprehensive instruction from every perspective.
Tomorrow we will bring you more updates from this wonderful training, dear readers!
