Basic pediatric CPR

Pediatric Basic Life Support (PBLS)

Course Objectives

Apply the systematic assessment using the Pediatric Assessment Triangle (PAT).
Detect and treat potential life-threatening causes.
Identify a child in cardiac arrest.
Apply the specific pediatric basic life support sequence according to ERC 2021 guidelines.
Safely use a semi-automatic external defibrillator (AED).
Perform mouth-to-mouth or assisted ventilation in infants and children over one year old.
