Urgent Care for Burn Patients

Course Objectives

Identify and classify different types of burns.
Assess the severity of burns.
Apply first aid to minimize tissue damage.
Manage the complete burn care kit.
Prevent the spread of heat to deep tissues.
Optimize hydration and wound protection.
Manage pain and shock in severe burns.
Stabilize the patient until transfer to a specialized center.
