Course Objectives

Promote a culture of safety in EMS.
Implement crew resource management.
Practice defensive driving and safe operations.
Prevent injuries, infections, and road hazards.
Assess the risk of violence at the scene.
Apply verbal de-escalation and physical control techniques.
Use lifting and transfer aids.
Strengthen personal health, resilience, and patient and professional safety.

International certification NAEMT – EMS Safety, valid for 4 years and with 8 hours of CAPCE credit.
