Operational Police Intervention in Structural Fires

Course Objectives

Reinforce knowledge about fire dynamics.
Understand extinguishing agents and their use.
Learn to use appropriate Respiratory Protection Equipment (RPE) for police operations.
Interpret the evolution of a fire: smoke, facade, and confinement.
Perform appropriate actions in structural fires.
Reinforce what NOT to do during a fire.
Expand knowledge regarding fire engines, their dimensions, and positioning.
Reinforce tasks to be performed before, during, and after a structural fire.
